In football we always face challenges, that’s what makes it the sport we love so much and why we play and strive to be the best we can. When there is a tough challenge winning always feels so much sweeter.

In the last few weeks a new challenge has presented itself to us, something which reaches beyond football and with the ability to touch everyone, but is a challenge we must all rise to. With that in mind we want to assure you that Score will be open as normal and rising to the challenge we face. Sport is often a safe space we turn to when faced with trying circumstances and we love that football, like all exercise, can lift minds and spirits while giving your body a work out that can help be a part of building a stronger immune system. We have been liaising with trusted sources to determine how  we can best protect our customers, our community and our colleagues. Below are some steps we have taken:

  • Whilst we cannot guarantee a sterile environment we are committed to doing what we can to sanitise highly touched surfaces
  • Our staff are washing their hands regularly and wearing gloves while handling food and money
  • We are monitoring our staff and will take precautions if any show signs of illness, isolating them where necessary
  • Please do not attend Score if you have recently returned from a category 1 or 2 country but follow the self-quarantine instructions as recommended by the Public Health Agency
  • Please do not attend Score if you or someone close to you has recently developed a fever or new/persistent cough but self-quarantine for 7 days as per government advice
  • Please wash your hands more often than usual, for 20 seconds each time with soap and water
  • We are in constant contact with all the relevant authorities to make sure we continue to do everything we can
  • We will be open for business as usual, pitches are available and remember U-16’s can play for £2 per hour if a pitch is available (up to 8 players)
  • Call us on 028 7032 6922 to book a pitch or to check availability

Whilst we cannot control the virus, the spread, or the impact it has on our lives, we are doing everything we can to make Score as safe as possible. We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to help us do just that. See you on the pitch!
