General Manager Required

Join Score Football Centres in Coleraine as our Manager and lead our team to continued success in the world of recreational football. We’ve been in business since 2015, and now we’re looking for a driven individual to help us reach new heights.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the football centre, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
  • Oversee the scheduling of facility bookings, league matches, and events, optimizing facility utilisation and revenue generation.
  • Manage and motivate a diverse team to create a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the centre, paying attention to every detail.
  • Manage and develop our busy café, overseeing inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to maintain efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract and retain customers, including promotional campaigns and community engagement initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the customer journey, seeking opportunities for improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, tenants and stakeholders, representing Score Football Centres with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the sports or leisure industry.
  • A passion for football and a solid understanding of the sport.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proactive and positive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and taking initiatives.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Financial acumen and the ability to analyse data, manage budgets, and drive revenue growth.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs of the football centre.
  • Clean UK Full Driving Licence with access to your own car.

Key Info:

  • O.T.E. £30,000
  • Basic salary will be around £26,000 p.a. depending on previous experience.
  • A commission will be available based against overall performance targets.
  • Being flexible with working hours will be important with a requirement to work at least two evenings and two Saturdays per month.
